Kittens, Pregnant and Nursing Cats: Kittens can be fed up to 2 times the recommended amount according to the feeding chart. For younger kittens, it is recommended to rehydrate with water, milk, or broth for a softer texture. For pregnant and nursing cats, it is recommended to feed up to 3 times the amount according to the guide.
Transition:
Switching over to a pure RAW diet is a gradual process to ensure your pets are able to adapt well. There are many transition options and each approach should be selected to suit the needs and lifestyle of your pet. The process can take anytime from one week up to 6 months depending on the age and previous diets. This is to ensure that the digestive systems are given ample time to adjust to the new food.
